Heard commendable speeches from President Nelson, Wong Mr. Rahula W.A. the student community services manager & wrapped up by Encik Adly Mohamed the CEO of YAWA (Yayasan Anak Warisan Alam, Malaysia). Three trees were planted to signify the launching of the project followed by presentation of token of appreciation by Leo President Garry Lin. Thereafter, participants warmed up with light exercises before the Green Walk commenced at 9.00 am. Participants took about an hour and the event wrapped up with many lucky draw prizes given out. Congrats to Alt. Leo Advisor Jamie for being the first winner but she re-donated her prize, making another participant happy. Kudos to all Monash University Leos for a commendable project.
