Heartiest Appreciation & Thanks to

Mr & Mrs S.K. Ooi & Mr & Mrs J.B. Kuang

This 1st fiscal year 2011/12 [July - Dec 2011] the Student Welfare Program got off to a fantastic start with Mr & Mrs S.K. Ooi generously donating RM4,500 to the meals sponsorship [breakfast/lunch for 15 poor students for two terms]

Than came along Mr & Mrs J.B. Kuang who generously donated 60 sets of school uniforms. On 23 September 2011 from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm President Katherine and PP Irene made the Uniform Presentation to the 60 deserving students of SRJK [C] Tai Thung, Salak South, KL and SRJK [C] Kwong Hon, Sg Besi, KL witnessed by respective Principal and Teachers.

Club put on record our heartfelt Appreciation & Thanks to both Mr & Mrs J.B. Kuang and Mr & Mrs S.K. Ooi for their unselfish generosity for these students. The students had made their own Appreciation cum Thank You card for both the donors and President will have it deliver to their sponsors.

24th Lions International Peace Poster Contest "Children Know Peace" held at

SSTwo Mall, Jalan SS2/72, PJ on 2 October 2011 from 10am to 2.00 pm.

Event made possible by SSTwo Mall Management as venue sponsor,

Soong Wing Kwong & Sons Sdn Bhd for 5 watches for main winners and

trophies by Lion Jennifer Choong. Total expenditure was RM385.20
