Through the storms of life, may your love for one another be steadfast and strong and May your marriage be filled with all the right ingredients : a heap of love, a dash of humor, a touch of romance, and a spoonful of understanding. 

1 July 2012 saw the Joint Installation of Lions Club of Subang Jaya, PJ Mutiara, Bandar Baru Klang, Ampang City Garden, Sunway, Puchong and Lioness Club Subang Jaya held at Eastin Hotel, Petaling Jaya graced by DG Tan Swee Kok, 1st VDG Lee Boon Hoe, 2nd VDG Ooi Chao Syhuan, PCC Patrick Chew, PDG Woon Fong Piew and other luminaries.  

Lions and guests witnessed the induction of five new members conducted by 2nd VDG Ooi Chao Syhuan while the Installation was conducted by 1st VDG Lee Boon Hoe.  DG Tan was called on stage to hand over the gavel and he presented his personal momento to all Presidents.  

Other program included entertainment by Datin Maylene Yong who sang a medley of songs, presentation of Melvin Jones Fellow, Appreciation to Teacher Advisor, Outstanding Leo and exchanging gift between Lions Club Subang Jaya and their Taiwan twin club.  Event was timely monitored and we adjourned before 10.30 pm for more fellowship.

8 March 2010 Fellowship Campaign Dinner hosted by 2nd Vice District Governor 2012/13 candidate Lion SN Tai of Subang Jaya at Jaya Palace, PJ attended by Lions Nelson, Lynda and Jessie together with 70 other Lions. With 20 years of Consistently Active Lionistic career, we hope Lion SN Tai will be the Eventual Winner at the forthcoming Kuching Convention and elevate the status of Selangor Lions to greater heights !!

8 Jan 2012 Chinese New Year Visit to Rumah Love & Care Kajang

Attended by President Katherine with Irene, Nancy, Josephine, Peggy & Jessie. Arrived at the home at 11.30 am greeted by caretaker Ms. Carmen. We purchased detergent, big and small onion, ginge, black beans, black & white fungus, coffee, sugar, milk power, maggie noodles, margarine, biscuits, etc value RM500 generously donated by Mdm Jane Wong. Lunch was yong tau foo with fried mee hoon by Lion Irene and stewed chicken with potato by Lion Jessie. Spent about 1 hour 40 mins with the inmates with singing by the inmates and children. Event ended with President Katherine and OC Irene distributing ang pow totalling RM300 generously donated by Mdm Ko Lan Teng [colleague of Lion Jessie]

7 Jan 2012 Lions Club PJ Metro 23rd Anniversary cum January Birthday Celebration.

Held at Bibi Chik Rest, SS2, PJ attended by CP Lynda, Yvonne & Jessie with Lions luminaries included DG Shawn Lee, 2nd VDP Lee Boon Hoe, PDG Sam A.Leong with Lion Molly, PDG Woon Fong Piew, R8C Soong Kok Hong, representation from members from Subang Jaya, Penang Prai, GeorgeTown Mutiara, Damansara Metro New Century & Penang Elite. Great entertainment by in-house singer Roy Chew rendering songs from the 60's and 70's and guests dance the night away till 10.30 pm albeit space constraint.

18 December 2011 Tree Planting Project with MBSA at Dusun Tasik, Sek 7 Shah Alam. Under the directions of DC for Environmental Services Jean Teoh President Katherine, Lynda and Jessie together with other Lions from Region 7 & 8 planted over 100 fruit trees at Zone 3 within 2 hours. Mingled with other NGOs participated and learnt a fair bit about ecosystem.

4 December 2011 - Mutiara Charity Bowl 2011 - OC Josephine Yeng

16 teams pitted their striking skills raised RM10,745.00 & recorded expenditure of RM786.00 thus making a nett profit of RM9,959.00 of which RM5,000 was donated to

National Kidney Foundation while the rest to our Student Welfare Program.

This 1st fiscal year 2011/12 [July - Dec 2011] the Student Welfare Program got off to a fantastic start with Mr & Mrs S.K. Ooi generously donating RM4,500 to the meals sponsorship [breakfast/lunch for 15 poor students for two terms]

Than came along Mr & Mrs J.B. Kuang who generously donated 60 sets of school uniforms. On 23 September 2011 from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm President Katherine and PP Irene made the Uniform Presentation to the 60 deserving students of SRJK [C] Tai Thung, Salak South, KL and SRJK [C] Kwong Hon, Sg Besi, KL witnessed by respective Principal and Teachers.

Club put on record our heartfelt Appreciation & Thanks to both Mr & Mrs J.B. Kuang and Mr & Mrs S.K. Ooi for their unselfish generosity for these students. The students had made their own Appreciation cum Thank You card for both the donors and President will have it deliver to their sponsors.

SSTwo Mall, Jalan SS2/72, PJ on 2 October 2011 from 10am to 2.00 pm.
